Students must be a resident of one of these districts to enroll at LCA. Each partner has a limited number of program slots. There may be a wait list for each enrollment.

How To Apply:

All students must be sponsored by their school district of residence. Prospective students must come to the Academy to fill out an application in person. No appointment is necessary. No applications will be malled or given to a third party. Residence of Elizabethtown Area, Hempfield, Manheim Central, and Warwick School Districts should contact their principal or guidance as the first step.

Sponsoring Partners Are:

After the district gives approval for sponsorship, you must test for admission. Due to the self-directed learning and the curriculum material, minimum 8th grade reading and math skills are recomended. Testing for reading and math skill levels takes place at at least once a month and will take 4 hours. You will be scheduled at least a week in advance for group testing.

After Testing:

The test are scored the same day, and if 8th grade reading/math is scored, a "Request for Records" form is given to the applicant. It must be signed by a parent/gaurdian if the applicant is not 18 years old. LCA will fax the signed form to the last school attended to receive high school grades and credits. Once these are received, we will call to set up an orientation.A $50 NON-REFUNDABLE USER FEE is to be paid by check or money order at orientation. This is an annual fee, and is payable again at the start of the new school year, should the student not graduate.
