School Operation Info

Attendance:

Students are expected to commit 15 hours per week to school. This is a combination of in-person and at-home learning. See calendars in the folder below for school hours. Failure to comply with the attendance requirements may result in the student being withdrawn from the program.

Transportation:

Lancaster County Academy does not provide transportation.

Academic Progress:

The Academy offers a self-paced, independent learning environment. Students are expected to maintain a reasonable academic pace. Failure to complete class work in a timely manner can result in withdrawal from the program.

Diploma:

Students from Lancaster County Academy receive a dual diploma. The dual diploma is approved by the Pennsylvania Department of Education and is awarded on behalf of the student’s home school district and Lancaster County Academy. The Academy holds a graduation ceremony in June.
